Out-of-province Dealers

Dealers from other jurisdictions that wish to come to Ontario to purchase vehicles can apply for an Out-of-province (OOP) Exemption Certificate. Dealers bearing Exemption Certificates are allowed to acquire vehicles for resale only. This means that vehicles purchased by out-of-province dealers must be taken back to their jurisdiction, and must not be sold to consumers or other dealers here in Ontario.
