What: The
Honourable Ted McMeekin,
Minister of Consumer Services,
in conjunction with the Ontario
Motor Vehicle Inductry Council
(OMVIC), will launch the new
Motor Vehicle Dealers Act in
Toronto.
The Minister will talk about why
the new Act is important for
Ontario consumers. Carey Smith,
OMVICs Director of
Investigations, will compare two
vehicles and ask you to spot the
tampered vehicle. He will also
highlight a number of
vehicle-buying issues to which
consumers often fall victim.
