MVDA Dealer Information
Sessions
OMVIC hosted another series
of MVDA sessions for dealers. Dealers
were invited to learn about
advertising rules, completing
bills of sale, third-party
finance, disclosures and which
records must be kept.

Consumer
Information Seminars
Information on
consumer seminars can be found at

Insured Warranty Providers
Dealers are required to ensure
warranty contracts comply with
all requirements under the new
MVDA. Dealers can only sell
extended warranty products that
are insured, or for which a
letter of credit to the
Compensation Fund has been
provided. The list of insured
warranty providers can be found here.
MVDA Classes of Registration
Notice
The new MVDA
sets out new classes and
subclasses of registration for
dealers. To ensure your
dealership is assigned to the
right class, dealers are kindly
asked to read the following
notice and return it to OMVIC as
soon as possible.
