Increasing awareness of all-in price advertising remains the focus of OMVIC’s annual consumer awareness campaign.
Launching this week, the province-wide campaign utilizes TV, radio, online, out-of-home/transit and social media advertising that builds on initiatives first launched in 2015. “The message, delivered in positive and entertaining forms, informs consumers that they have a right to all-in price advertising” explained John Carmichael, OMVIC CEO. “When consumers understand this, it will build trust in dealer advertising and the car-buying process.”
Increasing consumer awareness of all-in price advertising remains a priority for OMVIC due to continuing non-compliance with the all-in price advertising regulations by some dealers “This is not fair to consumers, and it is most definitely not fair to all those dealers who are compliant.”
OMVIC encourages all dealers to take advantage of this campaign! Let your customers know that they can rely on your dealership’s advertised prices to be all-in, with no hidden fees or added surprise costs. Your all-in price advertising is making car-buying fun again!
