The Ottawa Police Service’s Organized Fraud Unit has requested OMVIC make all Ontario dealers and salespeople aware of recent alleged fraudulent vehicle purchases.

According to Ottawa Police, during January and February 2018, a female suspect allegedly purchased several high-end SUV's at dealerships in Ottawa, using fraudulent identification and forged documents to obtain financing for the targeted vehicles.

The suspect is wanted for multiple counts of Fraud over $5000, Theft of Motor Vehicle and other fraud-related offences relating to identity theft and uttering forged documents. She is described as a Caucasian female with slim build and long dark hair.

Dealers and salespeople are warned not to enter into any agreement with this individual. Additionally, anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Organized Fraud Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5433.
